The Volkswagen Crafter Chassis Double Cab carrys the crew plus the load. It has the capability of carrying seven passengers in comfort, with four doors there's easy rear access from both sides of the cab. Under the rear four seat bench there's even extra storage to stow valuables and tools. All seats have 3-point inertia reel seat belts and height adjustable head restraints for added safety.

Available on certain models is the 'Shiftmatic' lightweight gearbox which can be operated in either manual or automatic mode. In automatic mode all the gears are selected automatically by the control unit. In manual mode the driver pushes the gear lever forwards to change down or backwards to change up, giving all the benefits of a manual gearbox without the need for a manual clutch.
