The Volkswagen Caddy is designed to measure up to any expectations, there's not much the Caddy can't shift. The powerful 104PS TDI PD engine for instance with 250Nm of torque is designed to get things moving, you can benefit from the generous 720kg payload, or its trailer weight of up to 1425kg. The Caddy can carry the most awkward loads with ease, with a load volume of 3.2m³, load length of 1781mm, load width of 1558mm and a load height of 1257mm, you'll be amazed at how much space there is. To ensure maximum protection for both driver and contents, the load compartment is fitted with 6 load lashing rings, half height side lining and a robust bulkhead.

The Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG) available on the 104PS engine operates with two automatic clutches - while one is engaged the other is ready to accept the next gear. This twin clutch technology means gears can be changed much faster than with a standard automatic gearbox. Of course if you prefer you can still change gears manually. The Caddy BlueMotion Technology is both environmentally friendly & economical to run, with the 1.9 TDI diesel engine, producing lower CO2 emissions than any other comparable diesel – just 149g/km – yet achieving a powerful 104PS.

One glance will identify the Caddy Sportline as a little bit special. Colour-coded bumpers, mirrors and door handles, lower front spoiler, rear roofline spoiler, integrated front fog lights, chrome front grilles and the bespoke 17" 6-spoke alloy wheels have a Sportline centre logo which all add to the sporty feel. The chrome side rails not only look good, they also protect the sills from damage. The interior is a bit special too, with the seats being upholstered in premium grade, hand-crafted black Italian leather using red stitching, micro perforated centre panels and an exclusive embroidered Sportline logo. The driver’s compartment is ergonomically laid out, and additional touches are easily apparent. Equipped with ‘Climatic’ air conditioning, an RCD 310 Radio/CD unit featuring an AUX-IN socket for connection to an external multimedia source such as MP3 player and iPod, and conveniently located controls for the electronic front windows and the electronically adjustable heated mirrors.
