Ford Transit Chassis Double Cabs give you all the strong foundations of their chassis cab counterparts, plus a second row of seats for additional passengers. Whether you choose a chassis cab or a chassis double cab, there's a wide range of payload capability, so you can tailor your vehicle for the kind of cargo you need to carry. Each Transit Chassis Cab has a flat, strong base on which to build, with common fixing points and low frame rails providing maximum ease of body mounting.

The Transit range includes the 3.2 litre 5 cylinder TDCi engine developing 200PS and 470Nm of torque at the rear wheels. For operators downsizing from 7.5t who demand greater loading latitude from their vehicle while remaining within the N1 class legislation, the 350 HD (Heavy Duty) series of vehicles are ideal. For some operators who wish to climb the payload ladder there's also the 4.6T (N2 class) range.

cDPF (catalysed diesel particulate filters) are also now available as an option on the RWD 2.4L 100PS Chassis Double Cabs. The model also gains 6-speed transmission when cDPF's are specified.
