Also in the Transit range is the powerful 3.2 litre 5 cylinder TDCi engine developing 200PS and 470Nm of torque at the rear wheels. The front wheel drive 2.2L 130PS 5-speed model has also been enhanced with the introduction of a new 2.2L 140PS 6-speed powertrain.

cDPF (catalysed diesel particulate filters) are also now available as an option on the FWD 2.2L 85PS and the RWD 2.4L 100PS. The RWD 2.4L 100PS model also gains 6-speed transmission when cDPF's are specified.

All Ford Transits are supplied as 'Base' vehicles with upgrade packages of 'Trend' and 'Limited' being available on most models.
